We offer several qualifications and training courses to help people develop the skills they need to meet their potential. We are currently offering the courses below.
Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety
Interested in working as a matchday steward at Brighton & Hove Albion home games? Searching for a challenging and rewarding new career? This course could be just the thing you are looking for.
Open to anyone aged 18 or over, this course will teach you a wide range of new skills, including how to help manage conflict, deal with accidents and emergencies and prepare venues for large-scale events.
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health
Ideal for anyone wanting to improve their own physical health and wellbeing at the same time as understanding current theories behind nutrition advice, our course encourages learners to identify and analyse the positive effects of exercise and develop a better knowledge of nutrition.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to plan, prepare and implement their own exercise and nutrition plan.
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
The aim of this qualification is to increase knowledge and awareness of children and young people’s mental health. This course is ideal for teachers, parents, or anyone whose role involves working with children and young people. Knowledge gained from this course can help learners progress onto relevant employment in the health and social care or education sectors.
We offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities for people aged 16 and above who are not in full-time education. Apprentices work around 30 hours a week with part of the working week focussing on studying towards a nationally-accredited qualification. Apprenticeships last on average between 12 and 15 months.
