Premier League Inspires Programme

Using the appeal of the Premier League, we provide schools with high-quality support and activity to encourage pupils’ aspirations and skills.

Our Premier League Inspires programme uses professional football clubs’ business models to:

  • Inspire young people to engage positively in education.
  • Develop important life skills.
  • Raise awareness of the world of work.

Delivery takes place in schools and at the American Express Community Stadium with students developing key enterprise skills of: communication, confidence, financial capability, initiative, organisation, problem solving, resilience and team working.

Partner School Programme

Our Partner School Programme aims to use the power of football to support young people in the heart of our community to develop the resilience and skills they need to thrive in sport, in school and in life.

The programme sees full time sports mentors based in secondary schools in targeted areas use the power of the club to engage and inspire young people. Our sports mentors deliver a comprehensive high quality enrichment and mentoring programme which aims to:

  • Support young people to be active and live healthy lifestyles.
  • Help raise attainment and achievement, specifically in English, maths, enterprise and PSHE.
  • Support young people struggling at school to gain confidence, improve attendance and behaviour and raise their aspirations.

The programme is tailored to the needs and priorities of each individual school and is being piloted in one school in Brighton with a view to expanding in more secondary schools over the coming years.
